Who am I?

My name is Kim, and I am the owner and creator behind Little Sunshine Still. Each piece is carefully handcrafted by me out of Atlanta, Georgia.

My creativity started very young with my mother. She taught me how to crochet, knit, cross stitch, and so much more. Creating things has always been a safe space and an outlet for me through challenging and difficult times.

I’ve also always had a fascination with unique jewelry. I never thought I would have been gifted the opportunity, a teacher, and support group that has enabled me to learn this craft, and now I am sharing it with all of you.

These pieces are from discarded, chipped, and cracked dishes (mostly vintage). Once broken down and smoothed out, they have new life breathed into them by becoming beautiful one-of-a-kind pieces of artwork. My goal is that for every piece what was once broken and discarded can now represent in a new way being whole and beautiful.

I couldn’t do this without my amazing and supportive family and most importantly, my daughter, my Little Sunshine.
